We send Linda to fly a Black Hawk helicopter, Ok fly in a Black Hawk but still very cool...

" When you saw these three black hawks coming in to land on corporate hill at Eastern Creek Raceway it was really quite spectacular, they really are the jet fighter of helicopters. The video below shows them as they came over us for the first time...

Once we were strapped in it was pretty scary as you are facing straight out the door, and YES the doors are open!

We Left Eastern creek and headed for the city, the pic below shows the other two hawks as we all lifted off.

The views were simply amazing, the fact that you were looking straight out of an open door on a black hawk just charged the adrenalin into the breath taking views.

It also added another dimension to the flight with having another two black hawks flying in formation with us...an amazing sight, no doubt.

Once we hit the city there was a sense of privilege as it was obvious that very few people could say that they had looked down on some of the most prominent and world renowned landmarks hovering at 1,500ft in a black hawk!

We continued out to Manly and back over Bondi Beach which was quite spectacular as the pilot made some wide sweeping bank turns giving us a view second to none.

On the return journey we all thought that the trip had been as good as you could hope for but just when we thought it was over the three hawks rapidly split up and we went into some reasonably intense what you might call mild aerobatic maneuvers, there were some definite G-forces at play, the helicopter would bank so far in the turn that you were literaly at a 90 degree angle, somehow I managed to get this photo while we were at full bank, as you can see we were looking directly at the ground and literally hanging from our harnesses, unreal! So that's my review hope it paints the picture."

We would love to offer you the exact same experience however this was a one off made possible by the great team of military professionals that fly and crew these unbelievable machines as well as the facilitators of our world famous V8 drive Days...which you can view at the below links

FreemanX Reviews the Nurburgring

As you know FreemanX is always in search of the most outrageous, exciting, and straight out ultimate experiences.

When it comes to motorsport there is none more fulfilling of that criteria than the Nurburgring in Germany. It is the holy grail to motorsport enthusiasts and all who have had the chance to grace her corners will surely never forget the experience. We'd heard the hype so we thought it was time to send a couple of our own to check it out. Eddie gives his review below...

"Before I give you my thoughts it's important to paint the picture of the share magnitude of the Nurburgring.

Most race tracks are between 2 and 4 kilometers long, the Nordschleife (the large northern loop pictured above) is 21 kilometers long with 73 corners. What makes this track so incredibly dangerous is there is no run off at all on all but probably 3 corners...if you run too hot into a corner you WILL be eating barrier and no it won't buff out :-). Also to add to that, most of the corners are blind so until you have the track (all 73 corners) mermorised like the back of you hand you don't know what's coming next.

Of course as with all ultimate experiences there is a degree of risk but properly managed you can have an unbelievable time as we did... but there are the horror stories that need to be keep in mind so you never lose respect for where you are.

There are between 10 and 20 reported deaths on the Nurburgring every year and some reports have it as twice that on account of those who die from their injuries.

This track will humble the most sessioned professional and if you think you're fast, then don't. If you want to come off in one piece the first and most important step is to check your ego at the door.

On the final day I was driving there were 5 serious accidents and the track was closed for half an hour while they scrapped a car off the barrier, this was all before lunch. Motorcycles are in a high majority of the accidents. Below is a brief video of what can happen if you think you are better than you are...remember it is considered a public road so during tourist laps there is no restriction to who can drive on the ring.

When we arrived it was pouring with rain and the track was all but deserted for obvious reasons. Given that we knew we'd be taking it easy because we had to learn the line we geared up and hit the track, conditions deteriorated and fog came in leaving about 30-50 meters visibility, on the Nurburgring let me tell you it raises the heart rate a few beats per minute.

Short video below to paint the picture...
Here's 30 seconds of what the track looked like while we were driving during the day...

So overall an epic experience...there is risk but take the safety precautions advised, be willing to listen, and don't expect to be fast in the first 250km's on the track and you'll have an absolute blast.

Thanks to Linda who joined me as navigator and who's help keep me hitting turning points and apex's and not the armco."

Now of course FreemanX Experience is in the business of letting YOU do these ultimate experiences and keeping to form we can now offer you the opportunity to drive on the Nurbugring in a fully race prepared car.

We'll be listing the experience in the next week so keep your eyes glued to our motorsport page for details...
