Let the Games Begin! The 'Office Olympics' is a highly interactive, fun and unique session that is great for igniting and building on relationships, generating laughter, increasing energy and a creating some friendly competition.
1,000’s of participants have benefited from having the opportunity to interact and ‘play’ with their colleagues. Organisations have used the Office Olympics with great success to generate more personal, positive interaction within teams and across departments, energise meetings and conferences or to reward and thank staff.
How does it work?
Imagine an activity full of colour, energy and enthusiasm, one where everyone is laughing, interacting and getting a little bit ‘cheeky’.
Divided into teams, participants compete against one another in a range of fun, easy and at times a little crazy games and activities. Points are awarded throughout the session and the overall winning team receiving a range of fun, novelty prizes and office toys.
The games
As a guideline for a one hour session there are approximately 6-7 games, so we are able to provide a real mix of passive, active and creative games to suit all personalities.
The games themselves are designed to encourage interaction, laughter and some light hearted competition. Therefore you don’t need to be an ‘elite athlete’ or ‘performer’ to enjoy this session; you simply need to enjoy the odd party game on steroids. The physical difficulty is low, with the enjoyment factor high. We avoid using games that put one person on show - Our approach is very much about igniting people, relationships and therefore the team.
Process
We suggest that you decide who is in what team - as you can be strategic around relationships you want to nurture. From here we send out personalised coloured envelopes to participants prior to the event. This informs them of what team they are in, while also ignites the interest, interaction and excitement.
