Get ready to drive! It's now possible for you to drive a fully race prepared V8 on Sydney’s home of V8 supercars Eastern Creek International Raceway. Drive the advanced session - 30km's at race pace...this experience will bring you extremely close to what most people only dream of...

Our Race Experience program will give you the opportunity of a lifetime, one you will retell at BBQ’s for years to come.

You'll be driving either a late model Ford Falcon BA XR8 or Holden Commodore, both race-converted from new by V8 Supercar team owners and car builders, Peters Motorsport.

All race cars are prepared with roll cages, safety harness, race seats and slick tyres. Our cars have been completely race modified to maximise performance and safety and are not governed in Revs or Speed. You will also be supplied with a full race suit and helmet.

The experience begins with a 30 minute briefing including how to approach the track, the lines and apexes to follow as well as what to expect when driving an actual race car.

When you hit the track, you will be accompanied by a professional trainer who can advise you on advanced driving techniques to ensure that you gain the most from your experience.

The Pro Driver Package includes –

• 7 Laps behind the wheel of a V8 Race car at Eastern Creek Raceway, Your choice of Ford or Holden
• Use of race suit and helmet
• 3 Ride laps with V8 Supercar legend, John Bowe (Your ride may either be a Front Seat or a Back Seat Ride. Seating allocation determined on event day by the staff.)
• In car footage of your drive on a DVD
• Framed super souvenir photo set with John Bowe
• Race shirt and cap
• Exclusive luncheon with John Bowe (opportunity to ask him the pressing questions in a Q&A session)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Is there a height and weight restriction?
A: There is a height restriction of approximately 6.7” and also a weight restriction of 135kg

Q: Can friends and family come down and watch the drive?
A: Spectators are more than welcome to come and share in this great experience. 

Q: Can you get DVD’s and/or Photos of the drive?
A: If you choose to drive you can purchase an in-car DVD of the drive for $49 on the day, or whether you choose to drive or be driven you can also get a framed 2 photo “super souvenir” also for $49 on the day . 

Q: Are the cars automatic or Manual?
A: The majority of the cars are manual but automatic cars are also available. 

Q: Do you need a full driver’s license to participate?
A: No, you are able to drive as long as you hold your ‘P’ plates or equivalent. International Drivers licenses can also be used so long as they are recognised in Australia – please enquire if you are unsure. 

Q: If my license is suspended can I still drive?
A: You can, however you must bring proof you have held your license on the day of your booking. A simple letter from the local Automobile body (including your license number) would suffice. 

Q: Can you both drive and be driven?
A: Yes, however you need to purchase hotlaps as on add-on if you want to be driven around by a professional driver.

Duration:

Best to allow three to three and a half hours for the entire experience. Driving time is ten laps (approx. 30 km's) of the race circuit at your own speed.

Dress Code:

You will be supplied with a race suit and helmet, therefore normal street attire is suitable. Closed, lace up shoes are required.

PLEASE NOTE: Please choose your booking date carefully as any change incurs a $45 administration fee. Changes within 7 days may not be possible

Weight limit of 135 Kg

You will potentially be travelling at high speeds in a race car which is a physical challenge and may place you under G forces far more significant than a road car can generate, within this environment you may be shaken within your seat.

Family and Friends are welcome as spectators on the day.

DVD’s or a framed 2 photo “Super Souvenir” can be purchased on the day for $49 each.

Automatic and Manual Cars available.

At least 'P' Plates are required to drive on the day.
